Coco44 Invests Millions in Infrastructure

Overtime Sports Global partners with Sustainability Partners Creating the
CoCo 44 Impact Program

Communities across Mississippi and the Southeastern United States, abundant in beauty, culture and sports, now benefit from modern best-in-class multi-purpose venues (“MPV’s) and infrastructure through Colombian Coffee's (Coco-44) Impact Program. Public entities including state governments, counties, parishes, municipalities, universities, school districts and hospitals all benefit from the trusted partnerships created by Overtime Sports and its public-private partnerships.  These relationships have resulted in Billions of Dollars in economic impact through new stadiums and ancillary developments along with revitalization of blighted or left behind neighborhoods while providing tens of thousands of jobs.

It is for this reason that Overtime Sports Global and Sustainability Partners have teamed up to create the Coco 44 Impact Program creating a vehicle to take these opportunities to communities nationwide, providing financial assistance to municipalities without having to pursue the traditional bond financing and associated debt, management and maintenance.

Through Coco44's Impact Program, Coco44 develops infrastructure projects to serve communities while creating economic opportunities, impacts, jobs and quality of life for the local areas. Coco44 is a Public Benefit Company offering a usage-based model that requires zero upfront capital, no UCC filing and thus no threat of negatively affecting the bond rating of the participating municipality.  We assume the management and development responsibilities of the selected site(s), while providing a revenue sharing model allowing and benefiting the supporting municipality to receive more than the nominal rent typically paid to the municipality from the user / manager.  Through the CoCo 44 program, we can bridge a funding gap, providing a required match to state or federal funds, or pay 100% for the design, engineering, materials, installation, monitoring, maintenance, and long-term  upgrades.

Hank Aaron Sports Academy

Jackson, MS

PROJECT SCOPE: Smith-Wills Stadium in Jackson, MS is the oldest professional baseball stadium in the state. The 5,200 seat ballpark is the first stadium to host professional baseball in Mississippi as host to the N.Y. Mets and Houston Astros MiLB (AA) teams.  Overtime Sports hosted the 2000 and 2007 SWAC Championship Baseball Tournament and it now serves as a multi-purpose venue which hosts baseball games, concerts, community events and more under the management of Overtime Sports / KSG.  What was once an entertainment destination for the City of Soul, new developments in the area led to a decline in stadium use and economic impact to surrounding communities. As is the case with many older Minor League stadiums, neglect and natural wear and tear on the facilities and field left the park in dire need of a face lift. In 2019, Tim Bennett made a philanthropical $3 Million Dollar investment to the city owned facility, all in the name of Henry Aaron and the Hank Aaron Sports Academy.

COMMUNITY IMPACT: The Hank Aaron Sports Academy now hosts a variety of high school and college games throughout the year. The facilities provide a home field for practice and games to the Jackson Public High Schools (6) who do not have a field of their own. During the summer, a number of youth Travel Baseball tournaments are hosted at the stadium, some bringing in thousands of visitors to the local area. In addition, Overtime Sports / KSG has hosted the GCAC Baseball Conference Championship, the SWAC Baseball Conference Championship as well as the Conference USA Baseball Championship setting attendance records for single game and overall tournament for the Nationally Televised event.  Local community events, concerts, car shows and festivals have been added to the line-up of entertainment since the renovation was complete in 2022. The overall economic impact of Overtime Sports / KSG to local communities has been scaled as a Multi-Billion Dollar benefit to these municipalities.

The home of the Milwaukee Brewers (AA) MiLB Biloxi Shuckers of the Southern League, it opened on June 6, 2015, and can seat up to 6,067 people. The Legacy League

This NCAA Developmental League will be the first of its kind with 16 teams all playing in one location.  This approach and model is similar to the MLB's annual Spring Training where all teams either share facilities in Arizona and Florida or play within a closer geographic footprint.

This will also allow for a maximum economic impact in the city, territory and region while keeping players from the monotony of travel, hotels, long summer seasons and disturbance to their physical conditioning and recovery.

The Legacy League will also be a "training ground" for youth desirous of becoming an umpire, broadcaster, stadium operations, manager, ticket sales, corporate sales or any other positions widely sought after by collegiate students interested in getting involved in sports in the front office

Legacy League team owners come from all Major Sports (MLB - NBA - NFL), with name like Dusty Baker, Tracy McGrady, Andruw Jones, Brian Jordan, Ralph Garr, Lary Aaron, Deuce McAllister with others to be named.

The Legacy League will certainly become a haven for recruiting tomorrow's MLB stars by MLB scouts all from one central and welcoming location.
